Is always the Friday before Easter Sunday. This is the day that Jesus Christ was put to death. Crucified under Pontius Pilate, by 3 p.m. this day, he was dead. Christians consider this the greatest gift of love, Jesus willingly giving his life as a sacrificial Lamb for all human kind. It is one of the Holiest of Roman Catholic holidays, and those who observe should not eat meat of any kind, and only eat one full meal in order to fast in observance of Jesus' death.
